How we began – Jeremiah Prison
Ministry began on November 30,
1999, which was birth out of a
bond for a young man that made a
wrong choice in life..
Our Vision – to be able to go into
the prison chapels without the
inmates having to take us off their
visiting list. “We know with God
ALL things ARE Possible!
79 men have been released in 14
years. We still are ministering to
64 inmates in 6 states.

JUNE…. Another Crazy Month!
I thought I would lose my mind….our two year old refrigerator died and I got a lot
more gray hair! NO, not Tom…me…that’s…colored! I won’t bore you with the details
other than from June 11th through June 24th the repairman came 6 times and
couldn’t fix it and probably ruined it. I could write a book on this saga! In this saga I
had to run to the Rock that is Higher than I! The next scheduled repair was July 1st.
We lost all our frozen food and some of the cold food, over $360.00. The good part
is we bought an extended protection plan when we got it. We upgraded the
refrigerator on June 28th thanks to the Carlisle Home Depot and our perishable loss
was covered under the EPP for $300.00.
HEALTH & MINISTRY UPDATE
Please keep Tom’s mom in your prayers. She is in a rehab center for therapy after a
fall where she couldn’t get up at the end of May. We made a trip to Delaware in the
beginning of June to visit her at the rehab center. Prior to being transferred to the
rehab center at the hospital they ran numerous tests and its high probability that
she has terminal cancer. She will be 86 in September, pray for her salvation.
Well we want to share the news which we know God is in control. It’s been
confirmed with the newest technology called a DaTscan that Tom has Parkinson’s.
Tom & I have been reflecting over the years that he has probably had Parkinson’s
for at least 9 or more years but the symptoms really escalated last year into this
year. Thank God there is medication for him to take and it has been a miracle
transformation since April. Keep Tom in your prayers for strength and stamina!
I also have been on a Weight Loss Journey one more time! I have been doing the yo-
yo stuff since the age 11 and I do believe by the Grace of God I got it this time. I did
Child Nutrition for 25 years so it wasn’t that I didn’t know nutrition… 1. Monica is a
Carboholic! 2. Monica can only do 1,500 calories a day for the rest of her life! When
I heard Dr. Klink tell me those words it finally hit home at the age of 65. I am
actually doing 1,200 to 1,500. I now have lost 43 pounds since December 29th and
have 57 pounds to go. I hated the word DIET until yesterday. I get a daily text
message from a weight management group in South Carolina. The word "diet" comes
from a Greek word meaning "manner of living" what we'd call lifestyle. Go back to the
roots and focus on lifestyle change. Wow…that hit home like a ton of bricks!
You can change your stinking thinking can’t you! You can change your bad habits
can’t you! You do all things through Christ and none other Philippians 4:13!
I will have more on Juvenile Lifers in the next newsletter. My brain was too fried to
search. We did go to Delaware, three prisons, Tom ministered, many appointments
along with everyday life! We had to get new tires for our car and our vacuum fixed!
We continue to do prison ministry, ministry, what we do daily, serving the Lord until
Jesus comes! We can only this with your prayer support and financial support.

Senior @ DSU. He is Healed!
~Pray for all our families- spiritually,
physically and financially.
~Pray continue to for my brother,
Norman. Pray for Tom’s brother,
John, as he is on dialysis.
~Pray for the salvation of the world.
Pray for inmates and their families,
our Nation, our leaders, our military
and their families.
~Pray for prison reform in our nation.
~Pray for Bill our dear friend & his
wife Rose for good health.
~Pray for Dotty & her husband Stan
for good health.
~Pray for us for strength and wisdom
in all we do, that we remain cancer
free and healthy to do God’s work, for
our cars to be mechanically sound.

Proverbs 23:7a; “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he Philippians 4:13.” “I can do all
things through Christ who strengthens me.”
The Bible talks a lot about attitude. Attitude is an inward feeling that is expressed by
outward behavior. Whatever is happening on the inside will be revealed on the
outside. How you see yourself has an impact on your attitude.
The choices we make in life usually determine success or failure. If you truly want to
change your life, you must take responsibility for your attitude. When you chose to
improve your attitude, you will improve your life.
Five Obstacles To A Positive Attitude:
Change: None of us like changes in our lives, but it is all about God preparing us for
greater things ahead. Even though God has blessed you in the past, if you don’t
make changes today, you will get left behind. You have to make changes if you
expect to grow.
Problems: When problems arise, it is our attitude that determines how we come
out. Anytime God is preparing you to go to a higher level, He will always allow
problems to come your way. It’s about preparing you for the future. It’s about the
testing of your faith in spite of the problems.
Fear: God has a plan for your life, but fear will cause you to stay right where you
are, and keep you from a victorious life. Fear tells you that you can’t do anything for
God. God’s word tells us to walk by faith and not by sight. There’s something about
faith that strengthens and encourages you.
Failure: As long as you never give up, you are in a position to go forward in life.
There is something about failure that will cause you to surrender your will to God.
They learn from their mistakes. Successful people are persistent and determined.
Discouragement: The challenge we have as believers is to hold onto our faith in
spite of the discouragement that comes our way. Every time we experience great
discouragement, it’s a turning point in our lives. If you find yourself greatly
discouraged today, you need to get the focus off of yourself by blessing and giving
to others. When we are disappointed, we always need the help of others in order to
recover. Let go of the past, and reach forward to the things of the future.
