● Worked with 28 students from diverse backgrounds in a 2nd grade
classroom.
● Prepared and implemented a science and math unit for across a
span of 8 weeks.

various activities and lessons within the classroom.

September 2019-December 2019
● Worked one on one with a student in kindergarten to assess and
build phonemic awareness skills. Implemented a variety of
assessments and developed a lesson based on the data gathered
from the assessments.
● Worked one on one with a 1st grade student to develop writing and
research skills. Developed and implemented various activities
focused on nonfiction. Worked with the student to develop a
nonfiction book about the students selected topic.
● Worked with a group of 2nd grade students to explore poetry.

● Presented research at ​National Dance Education Organization National
Conference​ in Miami, FL in October, 2019. Research focused on exploring
the ​collaborative creative processes in developing and writing
somatics-based lesson plans.
