    DELIVERY VALVE HOLDER
    1.OUTLINE
    This bulletin is a notification that the tightening torque for the PFR type pump delivery holder
    has changed.
    The tightening torque value differs according to the production date and production serial
    number. Always tighten to the correct torque value.

    3.1. Display Locations for the Production Date and Production Serial Number
    Verify the production date and production serial number prior to tightening the delivery valve
    holder. The display locations for the production date and production serial number are as per
    the figure below.

    3.2. Tightening Torque


    The tightening torque for the 6J production date changes according to the production serial
    number as shown below.

    Reference:
    As shown in the figure below, the shape of the cylinder connection surfaces differs for
    production serial numbers 00678 and lower , and production serial numbers 00679 and
    higher. By decreasing the connection surface area, sealability is improved due to the
    subsequent rise in surface compression. As a result, the tightening torque has been
    decreased.
