HAYLEY CASSADY REPRESENTS CAL STATE FULLERTON IN CERTIFICATION IN


THE PRINCIPLES OF PUBLIC RELATIONS

Fullerton, Calif. 2/25/2020- Cal State Fullerton announces that Hayley Cassady, an
alum of the state college, passes her certification of the Principles of Public Relations.
Hayley Cassady has a BA in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations. She
also was an active member of Cal State Fullerton's Public Relations Student Society of
America.
Cal State Fullerton PRSSA members are the few students who have the
opportunity to be PR certified and stand out amongst other young professionals. Public
Relations Society of America issues the certification test This certificate is a significant
accomplishment within the PR industry because, typically, one can only obtain this
certificate after working in the industry for over 10 years. However, the CSUF PRSSA
chapter gives it's members the opportunity to achieve this right out of college, allowing
Hayley to be a certified professional at such a young age.
"Not only am I excited to boost my resume, but I've also gained the confidence I
needed to expand my network and join OCPRSA - Orange County Chapter of PRSA,”
says Hayley Cassady.
Hayley Cassady is an active participant in the PR industry. Upon graduating from
Cal State Fullerton, Hayley gained her certifications in Inbound Sales Certified in
HubSpot. She was an account coordinator for the Newport Beach Film Festivals. Also,
Hayley completed internships with Together We Rise and Miller Geer & Associates.
Currently, her position is a Business Development Representative for Together We
Rise.

pre-professional organization that prepares its members for their potential
careers in public relations and communications. Cal State Fullerton's chapter was
founded by Robert E. Rayfield in 1968. It is ranked as one of the most successful
PRSSA chapters and maintains the one of the highest memberships
internationally.
