Venepuncture and IV Cannulation for Radiographers

Hi All

Thank you for registering on the IV course. If you have never been to the QMU campus
then here is a link for the directions.

The day will last from 9.15 am to 5.15 pm. I will set you all up as visitors with carparking
so when you arrive on campus simply report to the reception of the main Academic
Building and you will be given a visitors pass which will allow you to get out of the
carpark free of charge. You will be asked to sit in the Visitors Area and I will come
down to meet you and take you up to the teaching room.

You should be sent an email with matriculation details. Ensure that you have
matriculated prior to the day. This will give you access to all of the university resources
and you will have the opportunity to look through the learning materials on the course
Hubsite which you can access through the QMU website.

Also, bring photo ID with you as this will allow you to get your student passes for the all
important student discount!

Finally, could you all bring the data sheet from a contrast agent you use in practice as
we will look at this during the day.
