We are pleased to announce that the International IT Policy Program (ITPP) of
Seoul National University (SNU), the Global IT Technology Program (ITTP) of
Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), and the National
IT Promotion Agency (NIPA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, ICT
and Future Planning (MSIP), Republic of Korea, are organizing a forum under
GLOBAL COLLABORATION FOR CREATIVE ECONOMY
the theme “Global Collaboration for Creative Economy”.
The forum brings together academic researchers, government representatives,
business practitioners and other stakeholders to exchange new ideas,
research accomplishments, industrial practice and provide an opportunity to
gain new perspectives and explore possibilities for future research in a spirit
of global collaboration.
Among other things, there will be various presentations and debates on
scholarly and industrial issues in the ICT field.
It is with great pleasure that we invite scholars, researchers and ICT business
experts from around the world to the international symposium of ICT
development and collaboration. We hope this event will promote coexistence

In the vision of capacity building and transference of Korea’s advanced
ICTs and policy to the rest of the world, SNU and KAIST have taken up the
challenge of recruiting and educating ICT professionals from government
organizations from around the world since 2003 and 2006 respectively.
The programs’ passion for knowledge & technology transference, and
international collaboration has motivated various stakeholders to focus
on sharing experiences, learning lessons, exploring and encouraging new
endeavors towards attaining sustainable development driven by partnership.
