RE: Designation of Judges as Observers or Alternates in the IBP
Elections for Regional Governors Acting on the 26 April 2011 request of Justice Santiago M. Kapunan, Officer-in-Charge, Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), for the designation of official court observers for the regional elections of the IBP Board of Governors, pursuant to Sec. 15, Art. 1, By-Laws of the IBP, and in accordance with the provisions of A.M. No. 10-4-13-SC issued on 10 August 2010, the following judges are hereby designated as official observers and alternates in the IBP Elections for Regional Governors to be held on 7 May 2011, 10:00 a.m., except Southern Luzon as hereafter stated, at the designated venues. As such observers and alternates, they will coordinate with the Chapter President in their respective areas. Within ten (10) days from the date of the election, a report should be submitted to the Office of the Court Administrator which should include the following: a list of duly elected governors; any incident that may constitute any prohibited acts and practices relative to elections provided for in Sec. 14, Art. 1, By-laws of the IBP; and any other matter that in their opinion should be brought to the attention of this Office.
