ABSTRACT

Indonesia is rich in natural resources, one of which is geothermal potential. Has

identified 331 point which consisted of a resource of 11 073 MW and a reserve of
17,506 MW spread across 30 Provinces. Dieng is located in Central Java province
is one of the project sites geothermal electricity (PLTP) Geo Dipa Energi, the total
potential energy around Dieng is estimated at 400 MW. Currently, PT Geo Dipa
Energi successfully operate the project Dieng Unit 1 with a capacity of 60 MW.
To take advantage of geothermal energy, can be done by converting geothermal
energy into electrical energy. To find the conversion process can learn the system
start-up at power plants. Start-up process is very important as it can minimize the
damage to the plant components or shorted electrical current. To minimize the
occurrence of things that can cause damage to the power plant, then learn the
system start-up into one solution.
