Problems Associated with the Research:

1. Polyphenols show degradation in GIT media.

2. Polyhenols possess low biodisponibility due to poor water solubility.
3. Polyphenols are bitter in taste.

How to overcome the problems?

The advantages of encapsulation of polyphenols in liposomes are better absorption, decrease of toxicity
and side effects, decrease of frequency and dose of administration; consequently, the patient
compliance and the therapeutic effectiveness are improved.
