iii. I would not be eligible or considered for allotment of ONGC’s accommodation;
iv. I would either refund the different benefits (up to the maximum period of 5 years) availed on account of self
leasing in case I desire to be considered for allotment of ONGC’s accommodation in normal course.

INSTRUCTIONS/ GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR APPLICANTS

1. Entitlement of Lease Rent:


i. For executives: Monetary ceiling for self leased accommodation will be HRA as applicable to the work centre
plus 10 % both counted on maximum of the pay scale or certificate of assessment of the rent of the house by the
Civil department, whichever is less.
ii. For unionised employees: the entitlement of the rent under self lease scheme will be HRA as applicable to
the work centre + 10 % of the pay derived notionally after adding 35 % increase to their initial scale (instead of
working out on the present pay being drawn) OR assessment of the rent of the house made by Civil department,
whichever is less.

2. Rate of House Rent Recovery for self leased accommodation


shall be as follows:

Unionised Employees

Entitled for ‘B’ type (Basic Rs. 7000/- and above) - 640/- p.m.

3. Employees availing self-lease facility will be reimbursed two months’ self lease
rent towards minor repairs/ maintenance charges of the flat/ house for each year
on self-certification on form No. WEL- SLD-03.

4. Retention of self lease accommodation:

On Retirement/ Resignation/ Facility is withdrawn from the date of separation


Death
On transfer i. Allowed for two months from the date of relieving or
till the end of the academic year (if the ward is studying),
whichever is later.
ii. On transfer to NE if the employee maintains family at
previous place of posting, self lease facility is allowed till
completion of employee’s tenure in NE.
