COVID‐19 RELATED MEASURES AT CAMPUS 

 
1. All  classes  and  examination  of  students  are  over.  All  academic 
activities except online classes have been completed or postponed.  
2. Annual  summer  vacation  for  the  institute  has  started  from  March 
24th to May 22nd, 2020. 
3. Barring  two  or  three  staff  members,  our  staff  and  faculty  live  on 
campus. Flexible work options have been provided to them. All staff 
has been advised to work from anywhere on campus (home or their 
individual offices) or take leave. Take all measures for  maintaining 
social distancing.  
4. All employees above 50 have been advised to take leave and granting 
of  commuted  leave  without  production  of  medical  certificate  to 
those officials who are above 50 years of age and have underlying 
medical condition up to 4th April, 2020. 
5. Senior administration is operating on rotational basis.  
6. Entry and exit to campus is monitored and non‐contact thermometer 
to screen for any suspicious COVID symptoms at all entry points.  
7. Entire campus is being sanitized and fumigated on regular basis.  
8. Outsourcing  companies  have  been  informed  and  advised  to  direct 
their  employees  to  not  report  work  unless  they  are  part  of  core 
essential group.  
9. Within  campus,  stay  arrangements  for  core  security  and  core 
housekeeping  staff  (bare  essentials)  has  been  made  for  next  two 
weeks.  Institute is providing them a place to stay and arrangement 
for all their essentials.  
10. Chief  Welfare  Officer  of  the  institute  is  available  for  any 
suspicious cases of COVID on campus.  
11. All advisories related to precaution for COVID are shared with 
all community members on regular basis.
