CIRCLE D.C.

Purpose: to educate and share fun and memorable experiences with murals, interactive games
around culture, history, and attraction.

Objective/Goal: An environment that inspires, unifies, and bonds communities together.

SERVICE DAY PROJECT 2019

1). Community Mural:


1. Materials
- wall paint (different colors)
- plastic flooring or cloth.
- paint brushes
- Wash station

2. Volunteers (45 volunteers)


- fifth-teen students, staff, and artists.
- assigned to different morals in the building.

3. Time gap
- 2 ½ hours max.
- snacks provided and paraphernalia

2). Building Bonds:

1. Materials:
- paper, pens, activities materials (boards, glue, pieces, music etc.)
- Tables ( 2 tables to each station except last station) 15 volunteers at station total)

2. Volunteers (15 total)


- broken up into groups to accommodate tables (4,4,5)

3. Time gap
- 1 hour max

3). Food for Thought:

● Dry food luck - Our volunteers will bring 3-5 dry food items and or more. *also utilizing
our resources (Martha’s table, Bread for the city, DC kitchen).

● Volunteers (15) - will collectively place items into bags for distribution for the community.

● During the hour and a half , volunteers will conduct a skit and or team building exercise
that will be educational, fun, memorable to everyone.

● Time Gap at least 1 ½ hours minimum.
