Lima is Peru's capital, it’s located on the Central Coast, on the shores of the Pacific
Ocean. Lima was founded by Francisco Pizarro in 1535 and take name “The city of the
kings”.

Lima city offers great variety of delicious and typical food, like: causa limeña, papa
rellena, sancochado, anticuchos; and desserts like: suspiro de limeña, mazamorra
morada, arroz con leche, picarones and the clasic Turron de Doña Pepa.
Lomo Saltado, is a excepcional dish for its preparaction we need: some beef tenderloin
into strips, one red onion, some tomatoes, some potatoes, a little vinegar, some rice
and a little of salt, peppear and condiments.
One of the most famous restaurant that you can find a delicious food in Lima is “Astrid
& Gastón”, they are married and togehter opened their first restaurant in 1994 in
Cantuarias. But, since 2014 they moved their restaurant to Casa Moreyra, San Isidro.
Nowadays, Gaston and Astrid, are considered architects and cheerleaders of the
Peruvian culinary movement around the world. Also, this restaurant is on the list of
“The World’s 50 best restaurants”.

The people of Lima have a passion and call “Futbol Soccer”. In this city, the most
importants football matches are played in the National Stadium or also called “Estadio
José Diaz”
The first division is conformed by 18 clubs, the most outstanding are: Sporting Cristal,
Alianza Lima and Club Universitario de Deportes.
Sporting Cristal also called: “The sky blue machine” or “The Winning Force sky – blue”
was founded on 13th december, 1995 and its coach is Claudio Vivas. This team is the
actual champion of The Peruvian Soccer league. Its oficial stadium is “Alberto Gallardo
stadium” ubicated in San Martin de Porres. The capitan in this team is Carlos Lobaton,
he was considered “The soccer player of the year” in 2014 and he shine in others
soccer clubs too, like: Sport Boys, Cienciano, Universitario de deportes and Union
Huaral.

Lima have an atractives destinations, one of these is “Parque de las Leyendas”, this
destinations was opened in 1964 in San Miguel, a Lima distric, this park was built with
the object to preserve, educate and offer eco-cultural enviroments, whose visitors can
apressiate the biodiversity of Peru. Its costs: for adults s/10 and for children s/5. Also
have fun, you can learn about zoology, archeology and botany.
I had the opportunity to visit this amazing placeand I think is a magic place and unique
experience, here you can see many kids of animals like: lots of monkey, a few turtles
lots of birds, some giraffes, a few zebras a few tigers, some bears, lots of Humboldt
penguin and more.
Another atractive destinations could be: The water park (Parque de las Aguas), Central
Park (Plaza de Armas), Larco Museum (Museo Larco), The love park (Parque del amor),
Barranco, Costa Verde and more.
