 INTERNSHIP SYNOPSIS

INTRODUCTION OF THE FIRM:

Chithara Cashews is situated in Vandar and Rangankere, Karnataka in 1998. It was

started by D. Gopinath Kamath. The firm processes finest variety of cashew and has
good brand recognition.

OBJECTIVES:

i. To study the various processes involved in cashew manufacturing

ii. To study the various grades of cashew
iii. To know the legal documents involved in the processes involved.
iv. To know the attitude of employees.
v. To know the steps taken in reducing pollution.

SCOPE OF THE STUDY:

The internship was undertaken in Chithara Cashews which is situated in Vandar,

Karnataka. The main aim of the internship is to study the overall process of cashew
manufacturing. The major focus of the internship id to study the import, export and
supply of cashew.

The attitude of various people in organisation like employee, suppliers and customer
is to be studied to decide if the existing strategy is efficient.

RESEARCH METHODOLGY:

The research will be done by various sources:

i. Interaction with Managers and staff members

ii. Questionnaire
iii. Review of past data.
