I- Objectives:
At the end of the activity, you should be able to:
Determine Energy Forms Present in the Operation of Different Simple
Activities.
Describe Energy Transformations in the Different Simple Activities.
2. Engage
Show pictures to the learners using Powerpoint presentation and let
them describe.
What do the pictures show about energy?
How do energy in the pictures transform?
What is energy transformation?
3. Explore
Using the same group allow them to choose a group leader and a
presenter.
Let them perform the activity 1 “ Little Shop of Toys”
After 20 min. of doing the activity, let them present their output
4. Explain
Presentation of the output
What does the toy or object do?
What energy changes take place as the toys or objects operates?
What form does the stored energy start out in?
What form does the stored energy turn into?
What form is the energy output in when the object stops?
What made each object to move a certain displacement and what
made each object to come to a stop?
5. Elaborate
The teacher discuss the concept with the use of Powerpoint
presentation and ask the learners of the following questions:
a. How would you describe the energy transformation in Filipino
traditional game “sipa”?
