1. To wrap your mind around sth: try to think like you’re trying
to understand sth that might be a little bit difficult to
understand
For ex: I’m having a conversation with some of my Vnamese
friends and I don’t really understand what they’re saying. I’m
listening, I’m really .istening but I can’t wrap my mind around
what they’re saying. I can’t understand, I don’t know what’s
really … they’re talking about
2. to be all set: means that you’re ready, prepared to go or do
sth and confident about doing sth
Eg: If I’m about to fly an airplane. Maybe I’m all set to go, I’m
ready. I packed my luggage and I’m good to go.
3. my way or the highway: ~ synonym is take it or leave it
Eg: Maybe you and your familes/
