Weekends

I wait for the weekend,

the whole week long.
When I could get up late,
and have friends to play along.

I am so happy,
when Friday comes.
Reach home, throw my bag,
And sit down to play carrom.

Saturday morning,
is the best.
I can get up late,
watch movies and take some rest.

Sundays are fun days,

and I go to the park.
But I have to run,
when the dogs come and bark.

Sunday night comes,

and the week come to end.
I go to bed,
and wait for the next weekend.
