Thunderbolt:

Thunderbolt is primarily used as a high-speed data interface, it can also be used to

connect high-resolution displays. The Thunderbolt interface is physically identical to the
Mini-DisplayPort interface and therefore can be used to connect a DisplayPort monitor.
Like HDMI, DisplayPort supports both audio and video, eliminating the need for a
separate audio cable.

Thunderbolt  Display Port in Computer:

Thunderbolt  famous for supporting high-resolution displays and high-performance data
devices with a single port. Its main characteristics are flexibility, speed and simplicity.
Thunderbolt is one method of connecting a display to a computer, but not a very popular
one. The most appreciated are HDMI, DVI, VGA and DisplayPort.

Thunderbolt I/O Link Controllers in Computer :

Thunderbolt technology Controllers was specifically designed with inherently low latency
and highly accurate time synchronization capabilities. hese features enable extremely
accurate audio and video creation, playback and editing that no other standard
interconnect technology can match.

PCIe 4.0 PHY in computer:

The Rambus PCIe 4.0 PHY with the Expresso 4.0 digital controller
comprise a high-performance serial link subsystem. Optimized for power
in challenging, high-loss channels, our PCIe 4.0 interface solution is ideal
for performance-intensive data center, edge and graphics applications.

Thunderbolt switch in computer system:

Thunderbolt offers a connection with state-of-the-art speed and
versatility, while consolidating data transfer, video output, and
charging into a single compact connector. Thunderbolt ports on a Mac
computer or another Intel-based PC are generally fully compatible with
existing KVM Switch devices and displays.

XHCI in computer:
The eXtensible Host Controller Interface (xHCI) specification describes the register-level host
controller interface for universal serial bus revision 2.0 (USB2) and above. The specification
includes a description of the hardware/software interface between system software and the
host controller hardware. This specification is intended for hardware component designers,
system builders, and device driver (software) developers.

Thunderbolt port in computer system :

Based on the PCI Express and DisplayPort architectures, Thunderbolt allows for high-
speed connection of peripherals such as hard drives, RAID arrays, video-capture
solutions, and network interfaces, and it can transmit high-definition video using the
DisplayPort protocol.
