Preliminary contour planning example

Contour is a fundamental part of the process when it comes to landscape design. It’s a
reflection of the terrain as it is now, and as it will be once we intervene. It provides a clear
view of the landscape and gives all the clues needed to decide whether to reinforce or erase
the limits between different areas. Each zone can host a particular usage, or they can be all
distributed equally. This will depend greatly on the needs of each community and the
character of the terrain itself, since the more sustainable approach is to avoid its alteration as
much as possible.
