 EVENTS

1. Team championships for Men and Women will be held separately in all age groups provided there are
a minimum number of Six Teams in each category. A maximum of two teams per state per category
can participate. Institutions can also field entry for teams provided 10 players are participating in the
respective singles events.
2. Entries will be accepted only from State Veteran’s Committee and State Associations/ Institutions

3. Institutions are eligible to participate in this Nationals.

4. States who have reached the semi-finals in the Last Veteran Nationals can sent one additional team in
that particular event.
5. Host will be eligible for one additional team in each category but in any case no state can send more
than four teams.
6. State sending second team should have five team members in first team and minimum three players
in second team.
7. In category 70 yrs and above state should have four players in first team and minimum two players in
second team.

 RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Team Championships will be played on League cum Knock out basis. Depending on the number of
entries, the playing system may be altered by the committee in the manager’smeeting.
Team Events:
All Team events upto 69 years will be played in the new Swaythling Cup System with minimum 3
players and Maximum of 5 players per team.
The 70 – 74 yrs and above 75 years team events will be played in the Corbillon Cup with minimum two
players and maximum 4 players per team.
2. Individual Events will be played on knock out basis except Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles 40 – 49
and 50-59Yrs.
3. Players who wish to participate should first register through the respective State Veterans’ Committee
and can send the entries only through the respective state VCs. No direct entry will be accepted from
any player.
4. The last date for submission of entries is 15.01.2018, through the online entry system. The entry fee for
each singles event is Rs.500/- and for doubles per player Rs.500/-. The Registration fee per player for
IVTTC is Rs.200/-. Apart from this each player has to pay a one time online registration fee of Rs.100/- .
With regard to the hospitality pacakage and other details, please contact the organizers.
5. For the team events the entry fee is Rs1000/- per team for the state sponsored teams and Rs5000/- per
team for the Institutions.
6. Each State association would have already received the username and password for players
registration through the Veterans Committee portal. In case of any difficulty, please contact our

7. Sharing accommodation will be provided to the players and their family members at prescribed
package rates. Sharing accommodation will be 2/3 person as per room availability.The check-in
at Hotel will be from12.02.2018(12 Noon) and check-out will be on 19-02-2018(12 Noon).

8. There are two packages(inclusive of Boarding and Lodging) for players – for 5 days (12 to 16 ) Rs.
6200/- Excluding Entry & Reg. fee. For 7 days (12th to 18th) Rs.8600/- Excluding Entry & Reg. fee.
Boarding and Lodging charges for accompanying persons will be Rs. 6200/- and Rs. 8600/- per person.
This will be given on first cum first serve basis till availability. For booking, please contact the organisers

9. All entries should be sent through the concerned State Veteran’s Committee duly authorized by their
respective State Table Tennis association mentioning the date of birth, address and age group.
10. All State Veterans Committee should contribute Rs.1000/- per State to IVTTC towards
Affiliation/Registration.
11. All state associations will receive an invoice (after closure of the entries) for the amount due to their
state in respect of the entry fee and after receipt of invoice, should transfer the amount to the account of
the Organisers.

12. All players must produce valid age certificate, whenever asked for. The valid Documents would be
Passport/ Birth certificate/ School leaving Certificate.

13. Player is allowed to participate in Team Championship, singles, doubles and mixed doubles event in
her/his own age category with his own state/ Institution players only.

 14. A doubles pair shall not be altered if both players are present and fit to play. However, injury, illness or
the absence of one player may be accepted as justification for an alteration to take place, but only
before the start of the event.

15. In case of less than six players entering in any one event, the IVTTC has the right toeither cancel the
said event, or allow them to play in lower category.
16. The players of a team taking part in a team match and the players forming a doubles pair shall
be dressed uniformly.

17. The rules and regulations of the game followed by ITTF and as adopted by TTFI will befollowed.

18. Each player is obliged to compete at the table and time set by the “Competition Schedule”.

19. The detailed program and schedule will be displayed on the notice board at the venue which alone will
be the official communication to the players regarding their matches.

20. The organizers accept that no restrictions should be made with regard to “drinking water” in the duration
of a match. However, drinking water will only be specifically allowed at the same time as the “toweling
down regulation”.

21. No entry will be accepted without the prescribed entry fee, to be paid before the due date.

22. Railway concession forms will be sent to the State Associations / State Veterans Committee as the
case may be. Players are requested to contact the concerned State TT Association Secretary or the
State Veterans Committee to avail the above facilities.

23. The Manager’s Meeting will be held on 12 February 2018 at 5.00 PM at theSMS Stadium.

24. The performance of the players in this Championship will be considered for selection of Indian Team for
participating in any International Event during the year2018.

25. Participants above the age of 60 years should carry with them the medical certificate of fitness. The
players will be participating in the Nationals at their own will/risk and Federation/ Organizers are not
responsible for any health problems/ illness/ mishap, if any, affecting anyplayer/ participant.

26. The Organizing Committee does not accept liability in case of accidents, injuries, thefts or damages of
any kind.

27. Please note: Cancellation of entries will be accepted upto 06:00 pm on 20 January, 2018. No refund
will be given for entries cancelled after 6:00 pm on Jan 20, 2018.

28. The meeting of IVTTC will be held at 18 February, 2018 at 11.00 Hrs as per the time and venue
fixedby the RVTTC.
