ABOUT ROCLA
Loading classifications of Rocla® products comply with the ultimate limit state design loads
specified in AS3996:
Class A (Extra Light Duty): Areas accessible only to pedestrians and cyclists (10kN).
Class B (Light Duty): Footways that may be mounted by light vehicles or livestock (80kN).
Class C (Medium Duty): Areas open to slow-moving commercial vehicles (150kN).
Class D (Heavy Duty): Carriageways and areas open to commercial vehicles (210kN).

Pipes from 225mm to 1800mm

simple rolling rubber ring which is

Only large diameter pipes (1950mm and above) utilise sliding rubber ring joints. Jointing is simple if
the correct technique is applied. Call Rocla for detailed instructions to ensure trouble-free

Installation
Installation should be in accordance with project-specific drawings and specifications. Where precast
base slabs are used, 75mm of sand or fine granular material should be laid on a stable soil foundation
to provide uniform bedding. Once the base slab has been laid, cement mortar should be applied in
the rebate to ensure continuous and even bedding and to avoid any point loading. Fill material should
be compacted in layers of no more than 150mm, evenly on both sides of the culvert structure. Link
slabs should also be bedded on cement mortar and, if specified, fixed with dowel bars.

Primary Tank 10 kL
The Rocla ecoRainPlus™ rainwater with pump
utilisation system is a packaged
solution for higher storage volumes
and is designed for high run-off flows
and greater utilisation requirements.
The primary tank accepts all the Secondary
incoming filtered roof water and Tank
distributes it to secondary storage
tank cells. Equalisation pipes and
an air breather pipe ensure that
stored rainwater flows efficiently
between the primary tank and the Various storage tank sizes are available to provide unlimited storage volumes
secondary tank cells.
Secondary storage cells are
constructed from Rocla® concrete
pipe culverts with cast-in end
walls. Secondary Storage Cells
The system can utilise a variety of
pumps, controllers and mains
supply systems to optimise the
package and tailor the system for
any application. Storage volume is
unlimited and various demand
cycles can be accommodated.
For commercial and industrial
applications a pressure tank is
used as part of the pump system to
provide constant pressure.
A high-volume filter is mounted in
a separate filtration pit. Filtered
material is continuously removed
through the overflow outlet, also
located in the filter pit.

ensure product quality is
maintained. Rocla® partial replacement sleepers were specifically designed to be interspersed with timber
sleepers in existing timber tracks, to replace timber sleepers that have reached the end of their
useful life. They can replace timber sleepers in a set pattern of 1 in 2, 1 in 4, 1 in 8, etc., or in a
random pattern as required to hold track gauge, or can be interspersed with steel sleepers.
