DNS HIJACKING

Also known as DNS redirection, it is a form of cyberattack that uses intercepted
 DNS queries to latch on traffic to a website and transfer it to a malicious website. 

DNS hijacking is usually a form of DNS exploitation, and servers are generally targ
eted by installing unwitting malware on machines, taking over routers, 
or breaching DNS communication networks.

Its aim is to phish, or pharming.

Attackers view false copies of sites by phishing to require user
Access and steal info, whereas pharming attackers may create ad revenue.

Attackers redirect domain name server’s ways:

 Local DNS hijacking
 Router hijacking

4- Make sure you're using a legitimate website 
5-  Consider using VPN to secure your IP Address :
The usage of a VPN program, or Virtual Private Networks, is often synonymous 
with shielding your IP address so that you can access information that is 
normally limited (often by geo location) but the advantages go well beyond this.

6- Use safer DNS servers such as: 8.8.8.8 & 1.1.1.1 this is Google 
DNS.
