Also known as DNS redirection, it is a form of cyberattack that uses intercepted
DNS queries to latch on traffic to a website and transfer it to a malicious website.
DNS hijacking is usually a form of DNS exploitation, and servers are generally targ
eted by installing unwitting malware on machines, taking over routers,
or breaching DNS communication networks.
