“THEY WERE MY ANGELS THAT NIGHT!”

About two months ago, I was driving
cross-country in my husband’s car. I was
in the middle of nowhere, and it was pitch-black

quickly pulled over and discovered that the broken “The very first

“SHE GOT MY DAY OFF TO A

WONDERFUL START!”
I was having a bad morning, so I
decided to treat myself to a coffee at
Dunkin’ Donuts. I had put $5 in my account
on my Dunkin’ smartphone app, but for some reason the register
wasn’t scanning the phone screen to take the money. The cashier
tried a few times to no avail, so I offered to just pay with cash. But
the cashier stated that it was something wrong with their system,
so to my surprise, she decided to give me a coffee and donut for
free. It really got my day off to a wonderful start, and I can’t wait
to pass her generosity on! —Helana Meisters, Mt. Prospect, IL

“I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR HER

UNEXPECTED KINDNESS!”
The day we returned home after our
family vacation to India, we were very
tired, and my 4-year-old little girl was
completely exhausted. We were also hungry,
but we weren’t in a position to go to a restaurant after
such a long journey. While we were debating how we would get
dinner for our family, my neighbor suddenly showed up. She
must have known that we would be tired after traveling and had
prepared a fresh homemade meal for my family and brought it
over for dinner. I still think of her thoughtfulness, and I am very
thankful for her kindness toward my family.
