The graph below shows population figures for India and China since the year 2000

and predicted population growth up until 2050.

The line graph provides


information about the population of India and China have changed over 50 years from 2000 to 2050.
Units are measured in billions.
Overall, in 2000 there were more people living in China than in India. At the start of period, China
population were increased, and in the middle of the period decreased. While the population growth of
India showed a steady but significant rise over the period.

According to the graph, In 2000,China's population was just over 1.2 Billion while India had only 1
billion. Population growth is substantially increasing in India but, China keeps a marginal growth till
2030,where two countries population rate become equal that is 1.5 Billion, then china's population
begins to decline. But,Indians are increasing dramatically and UN population devision predictes that
the population rate in India will be 1.6 Billion and China will approximately have 1.4 Billion
population by the end of 2050.

In conclusion,UN Population Division stated that India will have an enormous growth rate than china
and has an increase of population about .6 Billion over 50 years. China shows a marginal growth that
is only .2 billion on same time.
