pH Meter Calibration Steps

** Must be calibrate every day before the measurements.
1. Press ON/OFF key to power the meter on.
2. Press CAL/MEAS key to enter calibration mode.
3. Immerse the pH electrode with pH 7 buffer solution.
4. Wait the pH value to stabilize and the “READY” icon to be shown on the
display.
5. Press the ENTER key to confirm the calibration point.
6. Repeat step 3 to step 5 using pH 3 followed by pH 10 buffer solutions.
7. Now can start measuring your samples.

DO’s
1. DO clean pH probe every time after used.
2. DO calibrate every day before measurement.
3. DO calibrate the meter using pH 7, followed by pH 4 and then pH 10
buffer solutions.
4. DO be gentle with pH probe.
5. DO store the pH probe in solution (preferably pH electrode storage
solution, pH 4 buffer solution is also acceptable).

DON’Ts
1. DO NOT wipe the pH electrode or temperature probe.
2. DO NOT touch the pH probe head with your fingers as it will
contaminate the probe.
3. DO NOT Store electrodes in deionized water or distilled water.
4. DO NOT submerse or drop the pH meter into any liquid as it is not
waterproof.
