website of Vinamilk expresses the inner core value of each Vinamilk product that is always
giving consumers use feeling refreshed, full of life and feeling taken care of by products
made from 100% nature. What consumers want to buy here is the nutritional value and
health care benefits that each Vinamilk product brings.
1. Vinamilk's dairy product portfolio
Vinamilk's products are diverse and rich in categories with over 250 milk products and dairy
products:
- Powdered milk
- Milk
- Yogurt to eat
- Cream
- Beverages and products for teenagers
- Drink yogurt
- Cheese and dessert products
- Condensed milk
- Nutritional powder
- Soymilk

With a wide range of products, Vinamilk has fully met the consumer needs of customers
such as the demand for natural, organic milk products, beauty needs, beneficial bacteria,
good for the digestive system, and convenient products, low-sugar, low-fat products, elderly
care products, nut milk and contributing to the company's dispersion of risks. However,
there are also difficulties such as: management, product preservation products, product
distribution ... The solution is to focus on products that are being consumed a lot, eliminate
unwanted products and improve product quality.
Vinamilk Vinamilk's product lines
-Dis condensed milk makes up 10% of revenue
Previously, condensed milk was the product line that accounted for the highest proportion
in the domestic revenue structure of Vinamilk. But this product line accounts for a smaller
proportion due to changing customer demand.
          -Fresh milk (or liquid milk): accounting for 40% of revenue
Due to the advantages of the supply and successful launch of Organic and A2 milk lines,
Vinamilk is the number one market share in this segment. 40% gross profit in 2018
- Powdered milk: accounts for 22% of revenue.
Powdered milk accounts for 22% of Vinamilk's revenue.Vinamilk (along with Abbout and
Dutch Lady) is one of the three leading companies in Vietnam market in terms of powdered
milk sales. Sales of powdered milk heavily depend on exports.

- Yogurt: accounting for 16% of revenue.


          -Other products: accounting for 12% of revenue.
This product group includes many different products such as: Cream Twin Cows Cheese,
Delight Yolo Ice Cream, Match Chocolate, SuSu Cheese Drink, ...
The proportion of condensed milk and yogurt sales is lower due to the greater market
potential of powdered milk and liquid milk compared to other products. The most important
competitor of Vinamilk in the country will still be Dutch Lady. strong competitiveness with
Vinamilk on all 4 product lines of condensed milk, liquid milk, powdered milk and yogurt.
 Vinamilk has good control over processes throughout the material life cycle. Vinamilk was
able to take initiative in producing milk materials and only a small amount of milk market
had to be imported. Breakthroughs in Vinamilk's raw materials:
Regarding organic materials: Vinamilk studied and in 2018, there were 5 factories obtaining
organic certification, including Lam Son, Tien Son, Nghe An milk factories, Vietnam
powdered milk and Dielac.
A2 milk material: In July 2017, Vinamilk released the first batch of A2 milk, pioneering the
launch of A2 milk line

2. Model and packaging:
- Current consumption trend is very focused on design, product packaging. Understanding
that trend, Vinamilk did not hesitate to pour investment costs into packaging. To prepare for
the New Year holidays, Vinamilk does not hesitate to design and print new packaging to
convey the message to consumers. The cost of Vinamilk for these model changing programs
accounts for about 10%. In addition to participating in the world market as well as domestic
competition, design and packaging always play an important role in marketing strategy.

After more than 40 years of operation and development, the company's products such as
Ong Tho milk, Southern Star, Dielac, Vinamilk yogurt and other products have become
familiar brands in the domestic market. Thanks to producing high quality products and
selling them at reasonable prices, Vinamilk can attract all Vietnamese customers at any age.
 
4. Product quality:
In order to meet the increasing demands of consumers, Vinamilk has constantly innovated
technology, improved management and product quality. In 1999, Vinamilk successfully
applied the Quality Management System according to international standard ISO 9002 and
currently applying ISO 9001 - 2015 Quality Management System and Globagap Standard
Farms. This has partially narrowed the quality gap compared with imported milk and
increased the confidence and reputation of Vinamilk in the competitive market.
Currently, Vinamilk has over 250 product categories of high quality, tested by international
organizations. One of the most influential product quality campaigns is the collaboration
with the National Institute of Nutrition. This creates consumer trust, which makes the
consumption of goods faster. In summary, Vinamilk has been very successful in its product
strategies.
