I am writing to you because I am interested in applying for the Short Stories in German content
creator position that was posted upon the TeachYourself.com careers page. I have completed a
Bachelor’s program in German at Arizona State University gaining expert skill in translating and
creating compositions in German. As an addition to the translation and content creating teams, I
would become an integral part of the team resulting in lucrative contributions and collaborations.
Working in a team setting brings a varied skill set to the table, which allows for a new found
answer or result to be discovered- everyone works and learns together. While attending
university I worked as a barista and learned to be quite personable with my team and with
customers, coupled with the cultural and linguistic abilities from my studies and abroad travels I
believe that I would become a contributor to the success of Short Stories in German. The
requirements for the content creator position align with my skills, for example:

● Linguistic capability to translate between English and German

● Comprehensive understanding of social and cultural complexities inherent to
Germany and other German speaking regions
● Comfortability and confident in working with a team to deliver excellent and
timely goals translating and composing pieces
