Event report on Saraswati Pooja in our college

Saraswati the Goddess of knowledge, music and arts is a symbol of

wisdom and deep insight. Realizing this, a grand Saraswati Pooja
was organized by the students’ union on the occasion of Vasant
Panchami. This was first such initiative in the history of the college.
The entire college was decorated and the rangolis made with yellow
marigold flowers marked the welcome of summer season. The
Saraswati Pooja commenced with initial rituals followed by
Saraswati Vandana and Aarti. The event was also blessed to have
melodious song by Surr essential, the music society of the college.
The day of Vasant Panchami finally ended with a play by ‘Saksham’
highlighting the genesis of Saraswati Pooja and its relativity in the
present times. Student’s participation and union’s efforts together
made the event a great success.
