 BEFORE LISTENING ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS ABOUT ORAL PRESENTATIONS

1. A presentation is a way of showing information to everyone


else.
2. The Parts of a Presentation are:
–Introduction
-Body
-Summary
-Conclusion
3. I usually start a presentation with an introduction because is an
orderly way to show a topic without lost the thread of the subject
that I want to expose. Is important follow a structure to cover the
entire topic that you want to develop to make things easier to the
presentation. But also there are some exceptions like Laura with
her presentation where she's started with an assumption.

1. Her presentation is different because she doesn’t use a normal
introduction to start with the topic. She uses an assumption to break the ice
and start interacting with the people. I think is a cool idea to start a
presentation like that. I think is a creative way because is something
different from what you are used to.
2. a. boy’s topics: football, girls. b. girl’s topics: make up, which boy they
like.

READING
 READ AND ANSWER THE QUESTION
1. Because only 7% of communication comes from words and 55% of the
information comes from visual. That means that the facial expressions tell
more than words.
2. Show your palms and hands to people think that you are interested, make
eye contact to people think that you are listening and mirroring to create a
good environment but no too much.
3. Make eye contact too much and flare your nostrils. This is probably
synonymous of have an aggressive body language.
4. When you do mirroring that show to the other person that you like them or
agree with them. First, you need to see his body language and analyze the
situation. Then you probably start doing this to help a create a good
atmosphere.
5. Cross arms and legs probably have a negative effect on your memory.
