Nurse managers play an important role in hospitals and require strong communication skills to effectively lead teams and provide quality patient care. This study examined the communication competencies of nurse managers in the Czech Republic and found that while they had developed skills in basic communication, their abilities in more advanced competencies like conflict management, negotiation and emotional intelligence could be improved. Lifelong learning programs focused on strengthening these competencies were recommended to help nurse managers adapt to changing healthcare needs.
