What is MatActiva?

A project, which was started in 2007 to help students to

improve their performance and success in the math courses
through the online Moodle platform.
In Moodle you can find MatActiva, an online course with
different resources: theoretical elementary notes to recall
pre-requirements of the math courses; resources to follow the
course program and syllabus; free Mathematics video
lectures; online placement and assessment tests with
immediate results and feedback; challenges; a forum of
doubts …

Target public?
It aims all ISCAP students who study mathematics or would like to improve their knowledge in
mathematics.

Aims of the project?

− Motivate students
− Promote self-learning
− Develop mathematical skills
− Increase interest in Mathematics
− Ease communication among fellow students and among students and teachers.

How do you access MatActiva?

Please ask for a log-in to access the Moodle platform in ISCAP (GAIE)1 at the GAP (Room 318) and
go to http://www.iscap.ipp.pt/matactiva
