Summary of the film: the island of the learned Moreau

Edward Prendick is shipwrecked in the Pacific, manages to sail in a boat

with two sailors who finally die, then is rescued by a barcode, where he
meets Montgomery who helps him and explains a Prendick who is heading
to an unnamed island where He works and he brings animals for his
partner on the island. He also meets a very large and bestial native named
M'ling, who is the lord and friend of Montgomery. The ship's captain does
not want Prendick and leaves him in the lifeboat again at sea. But
Montgomery feels sorry and helps him, he takes the island with him.
When confirming the island, Montgomery introduces Prendick to Dr.
Moreau, a cold and precise man who conducts research on the island.
After unloading on the island the animals that were on the boat.

Prendick will live in the cabin next to Montgomery, but being curious
about what Moreau investigates on the island, he suddenly remembers
that he has heard of Moreau, and that he had been an eminent
physiologist doing horrible animal experiments.

Moreau starts working with an animal, a cougar, but his desperate cries
are heard by Prendick, he realizes that on the island there is a group of
people who look like humans but have an unmistakable resemblance to
pigs, a little scared runs away from a monster hybrid between animal and
man who chases you through the jungle. He asks Montgomery about all
this, but he does not give a good explanation, so he decides to investigate
and enters Dr. Moreau's laboratory and finds that there is someone or
something tied that looks like an animal and a human being. Prendick
believes that Dr. Moreau is going to do experiments with him and flees
through the jungle scared, there he meets a cute man who tells him that
Dr. Moreau is a Master who has turned many animals into humans and
they follow the Law that had been imposed on them.
After Moreau explains that he has been on the island for once years, he
tries to make a complete transformation from animal to man. Apparently,
his only reason for the pain he inflicts is scientific curiosity. Prendick
accepts the explanation that he is and begins his life on the island.

For a time life is ging well but the animal man who is a carnivore turns into
a beast and attacks them, killing Dr. Moreau. Montgomery feels bad and
gets drunk, his life is meaningless and after a goodbye party the animals
kill M'ling and Montgomery.

After several days, Prendick tries to make a lifeboat and escape, it does
not succeed, the human-animal become to losing the ability to speak,
relate,... and they are becoming wild, only the dogs-mens remain who still
with Prendick , but they also end up dying from a savage attack, so
Prendick decides run away of the island in a lifeboat, he is rescued by a
boat that takes him to the city, and since that day he is a strange man,
perhaps because of everything he has lived on that monstrous island.
