Personal Statement

Anamaria Buliga

I have chosen a business related course as I have been interested in this field & I believe that
I have the qualities to forge a successful career in this area. I have been inspired to fulfil this
path by my father, a director at a successful company in Romania.

Creativity is what first drove me to pursue business and management. New business ideas
fascinate me. The notion of running a business and the risk involved in business has excited
me for years. For this purpose, I decided that I need a professional undergraduate
qualification to certify my goal. In this case, a degree in Business seems to be a perfect
choice.

I have this dream, to have a career in this domain because of my family. They teach me the
way properly in life and they help me with all my dreams and all my things. As my father
teached me , the most important thing for success is trust in yourself. My and my family were
working together for the business,having the same purpose, to have success and to be better.

I have a large experience already in this domain but it is not enough for a big career. I am
very positive that all of the skills I have obtained so far and the skills I will gain from
studying a course in Business or Management will help me to capitalize on my determination
to be a Business Manager.

I am attracted to Business Studies and want desperately to further continue learning about.
Shopping, buying, selling, promoting, discounting, are all business activities and we as
individuals are involved with it some way, every day. I discovered that I am meticulous doing
all this kind of activity. It’s a field that I am greatly interested in, and I wish to learn more
about it.

I usually like to work in a team as I work with other people effectively, but I don’t mind if I
have to work on my own, while sometimes I prefer more to set tasks for myself and complete
them individually. My aim is to ultimately be able to lead a successful business where I can
provide a great service and create new job opportunities.

I am truly excited and looking forward to furthering my knowledge of Business and

Management. This degree will act as a foundation for future success in the fast moving and
powerful world of business. I am eager to meet new people, explore a new environment and
above all immerse myself in the study of business.
