Everyone Resume and papers will be different based on their experience, and what job they are applying for.

How does this lesson accommodate students who have IEPs?

IEP students will revive help from myself, and their SPED teachers during their time.

Students should be able to successfully fil out and submit a resume on their own.

LESSON OUTLINE

Introductory Activities (anticipatory set): How will you introduce the content and create the atmosphere for learning?
 Gain attention
 State Objectives
 State purpose for learning

After resumes are finished, I will interview the student myself, and possible the class will interview them as well.

This will be part of class activity/discussion. (Good/bad, what they did great/what they could have done better.)

Stimulating Recall of Prerequisite Knowledge (Review). What do students already know about what you are about to
teach.
Who could walk into the superintendent’s office, and ace an interview to a job?

Content Delivery (modeling, teacher input, guided practice)


Showing videos of good and bad interview/Resume examples. Giving hem tips.

Development Activities: What engaging and worthwhile learning activities and tasks will your students complete?
How will you share the content with the students? (These activities MUST BE STUDENT CENTERED)

Class discussions. Self-interviewing with the class and myself.

Closing Activities (Closure): How will you provide a summary of the lesson, evaluate the lesson’s success, and elicit
feedback from your students?
Do a second resume, and see the differences between the first and second.

Independent Practice: How will you know when your students have achieved the goal of the lesson?
When they can walk into the office and ace an interview without breaking a sweat.
