The pie charts below show the comparison of different kind of energy production of France in two years.

The pie charts compare the proportion in producing energy production of five different types (coal, gas, petro,

nuclear and other) of France in 1995 and 2005.

Overall, gas and coal were the most popular of the five types of energy sources in France , therefore, there

were no significant changes in their proportion in the period of ten years. While the rate of nuclear and other

went up considerably, the rate of petro was the only type of energy production that decreased after ten years.

In 1995, gas and coal were produced mostly as their proportion took up more than half of the chart (29.63% of

gas and 29.80% of coal) and showed only a slight increase in the next ten years of 30.31% and 30.93%,

respectively. Energy produced by nuclear accounted for 6.40% in the first year then climbed up to 10.10% in

2005. Similarly, an approximately 5% growth was recorded in the rate of other energy production being

produced, from 4.90% to 9.10%. By contrast, petro was the only source of energy which had a decline in

proportion of about 10% in the given period, from 29.27% dropped to 19.55% in France. (194 words)
