To provide and promote sports, recreation, leisure & learning facilities for the whole
community.
To work in partnership with other sports providers at national, regional & local level to
develop the range and quality of sporting activities on offer and thus improve individual &
community health & fitness, so contributing to the social environment and the surrounding area.
To encourage & develop full use of the facility, 7 days a week, both daytime and evenings for
a range of community needs.
To operate and maintain the facility, ensuring a sound financial basis, thus sustaining the
facility in good repair for future generations to use.
Increase the range of sporting activities on offer in the village and surrounding area.
Further develop the new sports of netball & badminton at both youth & adult level.

DECLARATION
In December 1, 2010, in the presence of all members, we were decided to register a
club called Spartans Sports Club, as per 12th act of 1955.We are requesting you to register the
club as above. We were informed that there is no any other club as our name and objectives in
our area.

5. MEMBERSHIP
All Residents, owners and renters in Kunnathoor Thaluk are eligible for membership in the
Club. Each member shall have one vote. The members should be interested in the objectives and
purposes of The Club and be willing to actively participate and support Club activities. The
membership fee shall be Rs.25 only (subject to change from time to time) and the members shall
pay Rs.10 per month (subject to change from time to time) by approval at the Annual general
meeting.
6. TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP

The funds of the club shall be raised by collecting club admission fees, fees per month from
the members, grants from Government or any other private institutions. Membership Fees may
be changed by The Club at its Annual Meeting.
8. General Body
a) General body shall be conducted monthly.
c) The General Body is the only competent body to frame, amend or after the By-laws of the
Club.
d) The Managing Committee shall recommend the changes to the Bye-laws and place them for
acceptance of the General Body.
e) The Governing Body shall consist of President, Vice Presidents of sports, General
Secretary, Treasurer and committee members.
h) The role shall be in an advisory and non-voting capacity and limited to one term.
i) Two third majority of the membership vote shall require to make any changes
regarding elected officials.

Acts as the President when the President is absent or not able to fulfill the duties of the
office for an extended period.

Records and reports minutes for the Annual Meeting of The Club.
