Corrigendum to e-Tender Notice for Procurement of housekeeping/wet sweeping,
Cleaning and Gardening services and its maintenance

Due to COVID-19 corona virus, the dates of above mentioned tendering is extended.
(All other terms and conditions mentioned in the tender remain unchanged.)
1) The description quoted in the point 3.3 on page no. 5 is deleted.

2) The last date and time mentioned in point 3.4 on page no. 5 shall be read as

“last date for the submission of the tender document 22-04-2020 upto 5.00 pm” instead of

2.00 pm as mentioned.

3) Page No. 6 Serial No. 5 shall be read as

“Performance Security Deposit / Bank Guarantee: Performance Security Deposit / Bank Guarantee

(Nationalized Bank only) for an amount @ 5% value of the total contract value ( 11 months) (if order

is placed) is to be submitted immediately after accepting the work order. The performance security

must be valid during the contract period i.e. for 11 months. The same will be returned after successful

completion of contract period within 3 months. If the work of the bidder is found unsatisfactory, the

bank guaranty shall be forfeited”

4) Page No.6 Serial No.13 shall be read as

“The institute may extend the contract for additional one/two years but not beyond three years, if

services rendered by the bidder are found satisfactory. The extended period can be canceled at any

time if any deviation is found in contract terms on account of unsatisfactory work. For this the

institute will constitute a committee of at least 3 members of diversified departments, Administrative

officer and Registrar of the institute to recommend the extension of services. However the competent

authority/Board of Governance reserves all rights in this regard”

5) Page No. 9 part 2 commercial bid mentioned in the table shall be read as

Whenever changes occur in DA from Government / competent authority it is applicable from
time to time.
7) Page No. 17 title manpower deployment shall be read as “male and female workers are
unskilled and plumber and supervisor are skilled”.50 % of unskilled workers are required as
a sweeper (wet sweeper).

8) Page No. 22 title man power deployment shall be read as “male and female workers are

9) Page No. 27 Serial No. 33 shall be read as
“The contractor should submit the bank guarantee of any nationalized bank of 5 % of the
contract value instead of 10 %” as mentioned.
10) The bidders are informed to upload and furnish valid document proof of purchase and

ownership of equipment’s / machinery available with the bidders. Also the format as

mentioned in Appendix “A” Page No. 7 should be uploaded along with valid proofs as

mentioned in appendix A Page No.7 and part 1 technical bid Page No. 08.
11) The bidder has to compulsorily submit the breakup of commercial bid as mentioned in part 2

of commercial bid on Page no. 9 in sealed envelope to the institute on or before 23/04/2020

upto 5.00 pm. The commercial bids of the valid bidders only will be opened on dated

24/04/2020 at 11.00 am. The commercial bids of the bidders who fails to clear the technical

bid will not be opened.

12) The bidders who fails to submit the breakup of commercial bid as mentioned in part 2 of

commercial bid on Page no. 9 in sealed envelope to the institute on or before 23/04/2020 will

be disqualified and their technical and commercial bids will not be opened.

13) Revised covering letter to be submitted by the bidder is attached on the institute website

www.gcoea.ac.in

14) Page No.3 eligibility criteria should include

Serial No vii - Above eligibility criteria is minimum and preference will be given to bidder

having merits in eligibility criteria.
