Dear Mr. Arschloch,

I want to bring to your notice about our uniform. I know that the school uniform has a

purpose of enforcing discipline, but the uniform that we wear is uncomfortable – both

male and female.

One of the issues is we sweat a lot in the long-sleeved uniform even in the air-

conditioned classroom; bothering us during lectures, especially wearing another jacket

or pullover. For the female PE uniform, their underclothing is visible when they wear the

short-pleated skirt.

Yet it is very costly. The leather shoes that we are required to wear is expensive and we

also need to buy another set of uniform when we reach year 12.

As you will realize, the uniforms are very uncomfortable and costly, hence a

modification is required to solve this issue. Thank you for your understanding and I am

looking forward for your reply.

Regards,

James den Jüdischen

Me: “So you’re going to talk with the headteacher today about our school uniform?”

Kim: “Yep, I’m waiting for him right now. Why though?”

Me: “Nothing, I was just about to ask you to play at the arcade after school. Anyway,

what’s the problem with our uniform? I don’t really think there are any problem.”

Kim: “Well, the school uniform is really hot – not the beautiful hot, it’s the literal hot. It is

very uncomfortable especially it causes me to sweat a lot, unable to concentrate during

lectures.”

Me: “Yeah, it happens only if you move a lot. I didn’t sweat a lot in that uniform even

though I’m outside.”

Kim: “Maybe that when you’re outside it is cloudy or rainy. But not only it is really hot, it

is quite expensive – the leather shoes cost a whooping 300 pounds! And we need to

buy another set of uniform when we advance to year 12.”

Me: “Dude, the leather shoes you wore every day is Louis Vuitton, no wonder why it is

300 pounds. My shoes are only 50 pounds and the new uniform set is only 20 pounds

per set.”

Kim: “Okay, the main point is that wearing a uniform is useless, it only causes some

issues. For example, the girls PE uniform is pretty uncomfortable for girls, their

underclothing is visible when they jump during acrobatic exer-“

Me: “Yeah I know, but it trains the student to be more disciplined by following the rules

of the school.”

Kim: “Hmm… It makes sense but for me, wearing uniform is tedious whilst wearing free

clothes aren’t.”

Me: “Yea, but as a student we need to follow the rules of the school. Hey, aren’t you

supposed to talk to him right now?”

Kim: “Ohh shoot, thanks for reminding me, got to go!”

Dear Penguin Lover,

We are from Tasmanian Conservation Trust, asking you for a help to save those

Tasmanian penguins, or also known as fairy penguins. These poor creatures must swim

through the treacherous sea every day, hunting their food on a polluted site.

Their hunting site is polluted by oil dumping activities, which the life-threatening oil could

clog their feathers. So, we have a solution – we give them a jumper made of knitted

wool. It releases heat when in contact with water and prevents them from ingesting

those toxic oil.

If you wanted to help these poor creatures, you can do it from your home. It is as easy

as counting one to three – get the wool, knit the wool, and send it to our headquarters at

Brisbane. The jumpers must be 40cm long but the color is up to you.

By donating a jumper, you are assuring the future of those fairy penguins. So, make a

jumper to save those penguins.

Sincerely,

Tasmanian Conservation Trust Representative
