Height: 173 cm
Weight: 71 kg
Driver Background:
Kyle has recently completed the HSC at St Columba’s High School Springwood, ranking within the top
four students in 4 out of 5 of his HSC courses. He is currently working for the large scale construction
company Fulton Hogan as a labourer on the Great Western Highway Upgrade at Wentworth Falls
before he makes the move to Albury in 2011 to begin studying motorsport.
Racing Achievements:
Kyle has been involved in Kart Racing since 2003 and completed his final race during November 2010
as he stops competitive Karting in order to focus on competing in ‘tin top’ racing and to further his
studies. Kyle has had lots of success throughout his Karting career, scoring many podium finishes
and as well as finishing 2nd in 2009 and 1st in 2010 in the Combined Districts Club Championship.
Kyle is now aiming to take the step up in 2011 and transfer the skills learnt from Karting into ‘tin-top’
racing on a National Level. To help achieve his goals, Kyle has been taking vital steps in order to
prepare himself for the step up into car racing. Kyle maintains an intense regular fitness regime, as
well as a strict diet, attending the gym over 4 days a week. Kyle also participated in the finale event
at Oran Park Raceway, as well as doing track days on the Wakefield Park circuit in Goulburn and also
has driven the famous Mount Panorama Circuit.
Following a successful test day in a V8 Commodore race car around Eastern Creek Raceway, Well
known Production Car Driver, Steve Briffa offered Kyle a drive in his newly built 5 Litre V8
Commodore ready to campaign the NSW HDT Cup Series. Despite this very good offer, Kyle is
looking to take a bigger step by debuting in the 2011 Australian Saloon Car Series, which runs as part
of the successful Shannon’s Nationals Series. The highly televised series offers a lot of exposure for
drivers, sponsors and teams and is a very good breeding ground for developing drivers.
About the Australian Saloon Car Championship:
The Australian Saloon Car Championship features the classic Holden VS Ford Rivalry. The cars are VT
Commodores up against AU Falcons and there is always action. It is a highly controlled and
competitive series but is also very cheap compared to other motorsports. This means that, dollar for
dollar, that the Australian Saloon Car Championship gives you the most back for your money.
Racing alongside the Australian Formula 3 Championship on all the famous circuits in Australia in
front of large crowds, the Australian Saloon Car Championship is one of the easiest ways to launch a
National Marketing Campaign. You do not have to employ anyone as all the hardwork is done for
you and all you have to do is give your input so the sponsorship packages meets your particular
requirements.
All the action is covered throughout print media (Auto Action, Motorsport News etc) and through
Inside Speed (Fox Sports), Speedweek (SBS) and Speed TV.
