Shoot four Plan

For this shoot I plan on continuing photographing the moments after a routine/ the
aftermath of a routine. I will be photographing in my kitchen, as photographing my
own home will improve the images, as it comes across as more personal, and I also
think it will be more effective when putting across the tone of the images. I will also
be shooting in my kitchen, like the previous shoot, as the element of moments after a
routine I’m looking at is a dishwasher. I wanted to look at something more specific,
as the last shoot was effective however there were many different subjects in the
shoot I was trying to look at, so to get better images I chose to look at something
more specific. I will also be looking at photographing the dishwasher when it is clean,
to contrast the messy, and claustrophobic tone that I created in the previous shoot. I
want my photographs to communicate the difference lighting can make within
photographs, and also how it effects the tone, as in my previous shoot I took some
shots of the dishwasher, which will hopefully contrast this one. The techniques I will
be looking at using are leading lines, as the dishwasher has many shapes, and
directions of focus, also looking at depths of fields, as that is an element of
photography I have liked looking at and improving throughout my projects. I won’t be
directly applying Clare Gallagher’s work to this shoot, as she looks at household
mess and portraying it in a simplistic and meaningful way, whereas I am looking at
the cleanliness within the household in this shoot. I will be using a digital camera
again, as I want my images to be high quality and pleasing to the eye. Finally, I will
be taking this shoot in the middle of the day, when the lighting Is hopefully at its
prime, and when sun will be coming into the kitchen, so the tone of my photographs
can come across and clean and crisp
