1. Emelda is very interested to further her studies. She wants to be a

kindergarten teacher. Unfortunately her parents believe that she should
focus on taking care of them instead of furthering her studies.

Write any TWO (2) reasons why furthering one’s education is important.

(b) Imagine you have the chance to talk to the parents. Write you
advise to them through a dialogue session using set norms and
social interaction etiquette.

(c ) Elaborate your views on the importance of obtaining a suitable

degree by sharing at least THREE (3) points.

2. Construct appropriate dialogues for the following situations pertaining to

the set norms and social interaction etiquette.

(a) You are at a tamu in your village trying to buy some seasonal
fruits. Create a dialogue between you and the shopkeeper asking
for your favourite fruits.
(5 marks)

(b) You have cut up the fruits that you bought and want to share with
your siblings. Develop a dialogue section whereby you are
discussing the importance of eating fruits and vegetables.
(10 marks)

(c ) Produce a dialogue segment in which your parents are planning

to start the business of planting fruit trees and selling the
produce.
(10 marks)
