A grand total of 66 slopes makes Trysil Norway’s largest ski resort. There is
plenty to choose from, both on and off the slopes. This brochure provides
you with an overview of what’s happening in Trysil during your stay and
what’s on offer in terms of food and drink, and shopping.
Christmas in Trysil is a time for family and friends, action-packed days
spent on the slopes and cosy evenings in front of an open fire or going out
for dinner. Plenty of snow ensures an atmospheric setting for the holidays.

January and February bring fantastic skiing experiences with plenty of

snow and perfect conditions on the slopes. We hope that you will have a
great holiday in Trysil with excellent skiing, plenty of activities and relaxa-

Cross-country skiing in Trysil
There are always excellent condi-
tions for cross-country skiing in
Trysil. A total of 100 kilometres
of tracks are prepared, including
many suitable for ski skating.
The tracks in Trysil can be com-
bined to form short and longer
routes. The possibilities are end-
less! Skihytta and Fageråsen are
good starting points. You are
welcome to follow our suggested
routes until you are more familiar
with the area. After a while you’ll
be able to combine tracks to create
your own perfect route.

Cashpoints
There are a total of four cas-
hpoints in Trysil town centre and
at Trysil Turistsenter. In the town
centre there are cashpoints out-
side Nordea and Sparebanken
Hedmark, and also one in Trysil-
senteret. The latter is only availa-
ble during the shopping centre’s
opening hours. The cashpoint at
Trysil Turistsenter is located by the
ski rental shop at Skitorget. You
can also withdraw money in most
shops in Trysil.

Trysil bus timetables
Night bus
There is a night bus from Trysil
Turistsenter to Trysil Høyfjellssen-
ter/Fageråsen via the Statoil service
station in Trysil town centre, depar-
ting 02.30 every Saturday from 1
January to 30 April. The same bus
also runs each night during the
Christmas period 29–31 December,
and at Easter 16–23 April. Ticket to
Trysil Høyfjellssenter/Fageråsen
costs NOK 100. Ticket to the Statoil
service station in Trysil town centre
costs NOK 50.
Free shuttle bus!
A free shuttle bus operates daily
in the cabin areas in Fageråsen.
The bus service starts at 08.00
from Trysil Turistsente, 08.15
from area L (in time for the first
ski school) and passes through
the cabin areas every 30 minutes.
There will be a break between
11.00 and 15.00hrs. The departure
at 11.00 goes to Trysil Turistsenter.
The departure 14.30 from Trysil
Turistsenter arrives at Trysil Høy-
fjellssenter 15.00hrs. The bus ope-
rates until 18.30hrs.The shuttle
bus will also be in operation on
Friday and Saturday evenings in
Fageråsen. Starting at 19.30hrs,
the bus will travel from Trysil
Høyfjellssenter every 30 minutes
until 21.00hrs. Bus schedule avai-
lable in hut/cabin folder.
