This photograph shows a portraiture shaped photograph of a milk bottle, that has just been

finished. I chose to take a photograph of this as in my shoot plan I wrote that I wanted to
photograph the aftermath of making a cup of tea, and this linked to it directly. I used a
shallow depth of field, keeping the milk bottle in focus, and keeping it the subject, in the front
of the image there is a milk bottle top, and the background shows the tea bag, that has been
the focal point of other photographs, which makes it interesting to look at the perspective of it
when it isn’t the focal point. This is the best photograph from the shoot in my opinion,
especially due to the slight symmetry of the photograph, because I wanted the milk bottle to
be the focal element I tried to keep it in the centre of the shot, which I think I did successfully,
and the symmetry of it made it much more pleasing to the eye. I chose to stain the whole of
this image, however it didn’t come across as that noticeable, although the rough edges of
the image make it seem more interesting, and like a liquid has been spilled over it, which
links nicely to the photograph itself of an empty milk bottle.
