Introduction of EYL
English for young learns is designed to introduce yo to the theory and practice
of teaching English as a foreign language to young learners 3-10 years old. Through
engaging videos and practical readings, you will explore approaches for teaching
English to children that are not only effective but also fun and engaging. You will
learn techniques for teaching new vocabulary and grammar that encourage student
participation. In addition, you will gain new ideas for teaching listening, speaking,
reading, and writing in a meaningful context.
2. Definition of EYL
Based on the definition of young learns in beginning, teaching English for
young learns is guiding and facilitating young learns in age 9-15 years old, for their
activities in learning, knowing, understanding, and comprehending ideas. Attitudes
values, skills, and information of English using tricks and strategies which will be
used in changing and redefining their thought forward their daily surronding situation
as a foreign languages learners.
3. The importance of EYL
One the most important of English Young Learns is creating an anjoyable and
creative learns. To most children, learning English is just another activity in their
average day. Though it will take time for them to understand the future impact of
what they are learning, the basic skills that these kids learn will prepare them for more
advanced languange courses. Here are a few ways to add excitement to lesson plans:
a. Fun activities : incorporating new words into songs and games helps children
relax and enjoy the learning process.
b. Add variety: young learns have very short attantion spans, so having a diverse
repertoire of activities to draw from will keep students engaged and motivated
c. Learning the basic: much of early curriculum is centered on alphabet numbers
