Dear Customer,

Millions of livelihoods have been shattered and there is growing uncertainty. While we don't know how this
will evolve, what we do know is that in this period, connectivity is absolutely essential. So we are proud of
our people, who continue to be in the field, risking their safety, to make sure that our customers and the
nation stays connected.

In the last year, we have worked hard on improving our video experience, voice app experience,
download speeds, as well as latency – all of which are vital to work from home. It therefore gives me great
pleasure to tell you that Airtel has been recognized in April as the best network on all of these dimensions
by Open Signal. Open Signal has a measurement system that is based on one of the largest pool of
crowd sourced data, using over 8 million customers.

However, we know we are not perfect. I do recognize that some of you may be facing problems. We are
doing everything we can to fix them and where we fail I would love to hear from you on what we can do
better. I also wanted to share a few of the things we have done to help during this crisis.

1) Self-Care: With our call centers running at reduced capacity, we have strengthened our IVR to address
a majority of use cases. For example, you can now recharge and make payments through the IVR and
even raise a network complaint. Better still, you can use our Airtel Thanks app to manage all your
services.

2) Home Broadband: We know how critical it is to have a consistent and seamless experience while
working from home. If you would like to get 1 Gbps Airtel Xstream Fiber - please let us know here. While
we are facing challenges in fulfilment given the national lock-down, we will arrange for installation as soon
as we can.

3) Safety: This is our #1 priority, be it for our Employees, Partners or Customers. All our field employees
are taking all necessary precautions (masks, gloves, sanitizers) and maintaining the highest level of
hygiene.

Finally, I wanted to thank each of you. Over the last few weeks, we have received a lot of positive
feedback from many of you about how we have held up our networks and about how our people have
gone beyond their call of duty to serve you in this time of crisis. Thank you for your kind words. And also
thank you for keeping your faith in us and allowing us to serve you even when we don't get something
right. Your feedback makes us better every day.
