CRAFT THE RULES

What will you allow in your

STEP SIX Design a banner image that

reflects what your group is
about and the group name.

PERSONALIZE THE URL

STEP SEVEN Change your URL to

something that's easily
memoriable. You'll use this to
invite new members.

Before you invite anyone into

the group, post 2-3 times per
day for about a week. This
way, new members have
something to look at when
they join.

BEGIN INVITING

Invite people to join. Ask

networks, including your

someone into the group
without their permission.

WELCOME POST

Pin a welcome post at the top

STEP TEN of your group. Share an

image of you and outline
what members can expect
from the group. Also suggest 
that new members introduce
themselves.

WELCOME NEW MEMBERS

STEP ELEVEN Every time you get a new

member, creates a welcome
post and tag the new
member. This sets the tone for
an inviting environment.
