CONTEXTUALIZACIÓN
This subject has been planned and designed to enhance the student’s cultural and linguistic competence
by introducing them to the English Language. During this course, students will be exposed to authentic
situations, in which they will identify and use expressions that are the base for more complex uses of the
language. The use of functions, language and general vocabulary will be integrated in activities where the
students can simulate a real-life situation close to their context and allow them to feel confident in
communicative situations. They will also be given more opportunities to know and learn about customs
and values underlying English-speaking and non-speaking cultures.
