Chicago 1945 Michael Jackson Written in 1983 for Victory album and recorded in 1984/1985

Steve Porcaro Failed to make the "Bad" album

Unrelated to “Al Capone”

Later inspired “Smooth Criminal”

Reworked in 2000 with Rodney Jerkins

Failed to make the "Invincible" album

Track is vocally complete and ready for release

Also known as “Chicago Nights” during the Invincible sessions

Considered for Xscape album but was rejected by the composer

Steve Porcaro, because of the tracks's inevitability of being
remixed

According to Damien Shields, “The song “Chicago 1945″, makes

a number of significant Chicago-related citations. The World’s
Fair (which visited Chicago), The Chicago Tribune (local
newspaper), Al Capone (of ‘The Chicago Outfit’ fame), and so on.
While making these citations it tells the story of a mysterious
disappearance in the area. “Three girls disappeared on a cold
windy night, never to be found again, never to be found again!”
sings Jackson in the first verse. “Who solved the mystery late
Chicago night? Ya can’t hide the truth so won’t ya turn on the
light,” he continues in the choruses, before launching into a
flurry of high-pitched “hoo-hoo” and “hee-hee” ad libs. The track
finishes with Jackson chanting “Chicago! Chicago!” over and over
in his trademark, gritty (slightly angry) vocal-style. The track was
constantly on Jackson's mind over the course of his career, and
was worked on during the ‘Invincible’ sessions and again at
Neverland in 2004.”

The lyrics tell a story about three girls who went out at night and
disappeared.

Hook is "Three girls disappeared on a cold windy night, never to

be found again, never to be found again! Who solved the
mystery late Chicago night? You can’t hide the truth so won’t ya
turn on the light?".

Christmas Star Michael Jackson Recorded in July, 1994 during the HIStory sessions

Brad Buxer Failed to make the HIStory album

John Williams Cover version of the Christmas song from Home Alone 2: Lost in
New York

While recording the song, Michael insisted that the entire studio
be decorated with Christmas lights, a tree, fake snow and a sled,
and even had Brad Sundberg dress up as Santa, to set the right
atmosphere to their recording, and Michael even bought a gift
for everyone

Michael apparently lost interest in the project as quickly as he

started it

Only the instrumental and children's choir were ever recorded,

Michael never recorded vocals for this track
Color of My Soul Michael Jackson Michael's brother, Randy Jackson, recorded a demo titled "Color
of Love".

Written in 2000.

Possibly recorded in 2006 with Whitney Houston's background

vocals.

Was supposed to appeared on cancelled 2007 album

Crack Kills Michael Jackson Recorded in 1986

An anti-drug track that was planned to be a collaboration with

rappers Run–D.M.C. for Jackson's Bad album, but never
materialised and was never finished.

Lyrics consisting of two verses put up for auction in November

2005, and again on the Internet auction site eBay a year later.

Run–D.M.C.'s verse was released on the remastered version of

Tougher Than Leather.
DMC claims the song wasn't finished due to an incident where
Bubbles accidentally bit Jam Master Jay according to an
interview he gave to HipHopStan.com, which is available to
watch on YouTube and he also noted the experience they had
with Michael Jackson was positive rather than negative as
rumored.

Run–D.M.C. was thanked on the Bad album regardless.

One of numerous tracks recorded with Rodney Jerkins that is

vocally complete and ready for release
The track's cinematic spoken intro resembles a prison break that
represents Michael breaking free from all the fabricated rumors
from the media

The track's lyrics are a defensive musical exposé about the way
Jackson's private life is rarely respected and how details of his
private life are either twisted or blatantly fabricated when
reported on in the media

One interesting addition to the song is Michael's spoken line

“Want me? Come and get me!” which directly quotes a line from
the 1931 film Little Caesar
