physical , electrical , mechanical or other workplace
hazard.

where deficiency of Oxygen below 16 %

10 . Safety Helmet :

1. A suspension system inside hat acts as a shock absorber.

2. An insulator against electrical shocks.
3. Protects you while operating heavy machinery like forklift & crane.
4. Protect you from falling objects.
5. Avoid trapping of hair in revolving part of machinery.

Shock absorption test :

A rectangular block having weight of 3 kg is allowed to fall freely over helmet
from height of 5 meter.

Climate condition test :

1. Hot climate : A temp. of 50 – 55 0 c for 4 hours in oven .

2. Cold climate : A temp. of -10 – 2 0 c for 4 hours in a refrigerator.
11. Safety Belt Full Body Harness :

( Tested at 2000 kg once in period of 6 months )

Applications :

1. Used in industrial jobs where there is a high risk of

accidents.
2. Used in all general duties at height works where mobility is
essential.
3. While performing height work on fragile roof.
4. During safe rescue & evacuation operation.
