1.0 INTRODUCTION

TATWEER Petroleum (Owner) is undertaking a phased field development project (i.e. Long-term Field
Development (LTFD)) to install Centralised Gas Dehydration Facility (CGDF) in order to maintain gas
deliverability from the Awali field in Bahrain.
A Conceptual Study and follow-on Pre-FEED Studies concluded that the full Long-term Field
Development Plan (LTFD) should be implemented in 4 phases of execution up to the Year 2030.
Execution (EPC) of Phase -I was completed in 2017.
TATWEER Petroleum now intends to install Phase-II facilities of LTFD. In pursuit of this objective,
Tatweer Petroleum has appointed Wood to carry out the FEED activities.
The NAG LTFD Project Plan comprises Four (4) phases of execution in total but the current FEED
Project scope is limited to Phase-II only. The scope of this project is for the next Phase-II.. Phase-II
activities comprises of On-Plot facilities (Two dehydration trains, identical to existing Train-1) and
various Off-Plot facilities as described below:

• Install CGDF GDU Train 2 & 3.

• Wet Gas inlet jump-overs at CGDF.
• LP modifications of Phase 1 train (identified in Pre-FEED, if any).

• Extension of Phase I 20” HP Header – South.

• Installation of two (2) wet gas header, 24” each – South.

• Installation of Phase II North 20” header.

• Surface facilities for 11 new wells.

• MGI facility at two (2) wellhead locations.

• Wet gas flow lines from the 11 wells to the wet gas gathering headers
• Condensate lines from 11 wells and CGDF to the nearest WMs.
• Two Dry Gas Lines from the CGDF trains 2&3 to the Gas transmission network through the
nearest J/O including jump over connections between all dry gas lines for operational
flexibility.

• Debottlenecking of Dry gas network.

• Connection to MGI header for the excess flow from the new wells
